1. This calculator does not handle the scenario where the pension recipient or their partner has grandfathered Account Based Pensions, or Annuities.

2. This website calculates the pension payable to one person. If you have a partner and they are also eligible for a pension you can double these figures for total household income.

3. You are generally considered part of a couple by Centrelink if you are living in the same house as your partner. There is no minimum time limit applicable.

4. If you have given away assets as gifts in the last 5 years you may have to include part of these values in your current assets.

5. The results that are presented do not include Centrelink Rent Assistance. If you rent your home you may be entitled to rent assistance. The amount depends on a number of factors so please search for Centrelink Rent Assistance for details.
